About

I am a senior at the University of Florida studying Environmental Science, and I have a deep interest in birds. After studying abroad in Madagascar, I discovered my desired career path in conservation. Taking Avian Biology at UF solidified my drive to study birds. I am the current president of GREBE Audubon Campus Chapter, and I am conducting research through the University Scholars Program regarding intraspecific variation of functional traits in island vs. mainland birds in the Caribbean due to ecological release.

Research Interests

  • Avian conservation

  • Community science

  • Insectivorous birds and the "insect apocalypse"
